A total mystery............... my celery plant has vanished, who & why???

But on the plus side

The courgette plant that has taken over half my greenhouse

Courgettes growing nicely 

Small tomatoes forming :)

 and lots more flowers

Sweet peppers are flowering

 Runner beans to the top of their canes, lots of blackfly though, must treat

Peas growing well, need to fill out now

Broad beans thriving too, with all this wet weather

The cats have dug up the radishes that were in the with the beans, must have strong words with them!!


Really must spend some time, the weeds are beginning to grow well too, the strawberries need straw and broken egg shell around them, as the slugs are enjoying more of the fruit than I am.

Nearly had a disaster with the pear tree, found it leaning heavily after the strong winds, now tied to the fence, as soon as I can i will look at securing it better. It's a lovely tree and I would hate to lose it, last year it produced so much fruit!


Also need to find something to spray the apple tree with as it has a fungal growth on it, some research needs to be done!

The wilderness of the front garden has produced some lovely gems amongst the weeds!

Next job to sort it all out, boarder the bed from the grass, and get rid of the weeds.

 Peonies are flowering well.

 Clematis

 Rose

 My climbing rose that had a severe pruning last autumn, is looking lovely now.

Radishes are growing well, will plant them out very soon 

Courgettes have gone absolutely mad! 

 Beetroot and mint are coming up well

 Sweet peppers are being eaten but i'm not sure by what, although there are a lot of ants about

 The slightly smaller sweet pepper plant.

 Tomatoes have now been staked

 nearly time for some new lettuce to go in.

 Rhubarb growing well

chilies have started coming up too

 Celery is sprouting
